Question i'm new i don't know what to do....muffler?

I'm sure you guys have heard this a thousand times, but what are the pro's and more importantly the cons the the muffler delete? and what about that cat??? i really hate cats..lolhttp://www.coolsmileys.net/food/beer2.gif

Welcome to the org. deleting the muffler will help lower EGT's IT may also give some more power. And also it sounds great

No kitty or muffler on mine. It sounds awesome. Not loud unless you get on it and even then its not real loud. Almost like a gas with a flowmaster, but with a whistle

Removing the muffler and the cat (if you have one) will allow for a more free-flowing exhaust and as stated above will help lower EGTs. It will make the exhaust louder, but that is also what many people are looking for.

excellent guys thank you.. so no negatives that i see i was kinda worried about back pressure and other things didn't know about the effects on the turbo. but you guys are awsome.

Welcome, glad to have you with us. You might want to check the local laws regarding the cat though, If you have inspections in your area, you may have to put it back on to go through the inspection, or gut it to look like it is still functional, just a thought.
