resistor mod advice

i tried the resistor mod on my 7.3 run it about 30 minutes or so and took it out. i was using the 3.4 or 3.9 something like that, but it was a little to jerky for me. will it hurt to run this for a little while, bc im getting ready to get the tony wildmans chip

I put in the 10k and pulled it out after 10 blocks. do yourself a favor and wait till you get the chip. I really wasn't surprised that a $1 resistor wasn't a great mod.
