Weird EGT readings
I haven't started my '02 for about 3 weeks until yesterday when my EGT readings went berserk. I am getting very high EGT's at idle, in the 1300 degree range and climbing at idle but when I get on it, the temps actually drop. Any idea what could be causing this or is there something up with my Edge or probe? I didn't notice any drop in turbo boost. Thanks.

I would agree that the sender is probably bad.
