Early 99 track bar
Has anyone put a late 99 track bar on an early 99 only difference I see is the bolt size so if I just drill out the hope and get a bigger bolt it should work right?

That is a very odd size hole. It is not a standard size. But if you want to try this endeavor I have a track bar for you.

Yes, the only difference between the early and late track bars is the bolt diameter. However the late bolt size is 21.5mm. Metric drill bits are hard to come by. The nearest fractional drill bit would be a 27/32 which will come out to 21.4313mm which should work. Now to find one of those bits, lol.

i tried putting a late 99 track bar on my early..... i bought the factory frame bracket and all, but the tabs on the axle were too short to drill a bigger hole in. the bar eyelet wouldnt fit into the tabs enough. it looked like i would have had to grind off a bunch of the eyelet area. i just put poly bushings in the early bar and reinstalled. my axle only shifted a tiny bit with the leveling kit anyway...
