Electrical Diagnostic Help please?

Okay I have been working on this for a week now. Originally I thought it was the GEM but I have been looking over wiring schematics and now I have my doubts.

The Map lights in front and rear seat don't work, nor does my power mirrors. now if i follow the circuit back to the CJB(fuse box) I notice that the glove box and hood light are part of that circuit. THEY BOTH WORK!.

Looking at the wiring schematic there is no other relays after the interior illumination relay, that go to all 4 of these powered items.

I am stumped. I have been over at my fathers place where he has a 99 f250 and have been swapping relays to see if any were the problem. No such luck. . Slowly I am convincing myself it is a break in a wire, but thought I would consult the many experts on this forum. Any ideas I would like to hear from you all.

Thanks in advance.

Jeff

Sounds like a possible shorted or broken wire, you just have to track it down from the fuse box.

continuity tested from maps and mirrors all the way to back of fuse box. No breaks. wipers and windows started failing too, so broke down and ordered a GEM, Should be here soon. Argh, electrical is so time consuming. But this truck is worth it. Thanks for response!

another GEM didn't fix problem. Will start again with checking wires. Could it be the fusebox itself? Anyone.
