Upgraded to 2005 Grille. Pics included

Well I finally picked me up a 05 Grille off craig's list for a whole 25 bucks. Also had to buy a new emblem for 22 bucks. Well heres the pics. I did take apart and paint the backing black since nothing on my truck is tan it didnt match too good. Looks 100 times better to me.

Thanks. I bought some cut-off wheels and used them on a dremel. Ended up going through 3 of them.

This is something I definitely am considering, along with updated headlights and turn signals.

Looks great.

I did this as soon as the 2005's came out. There was a guy on Ebay selling them for $300. I found a guy that bought one and had it on his truck for a week and the truck was totaled from the rear. Bought it for a hundred bucks, well worth it. Now you need to get some clear headlights bad. I would just do the 03's, not enough difference in the 05's to make hacking up the header panel worth it. I have had the 2000 lights, then the 03 lights and now the 05's. If I had to do it all over again I would have just stayed with the 03's. But for sure get the upgraded harness from Gosracing. Well worth it.
