Lope at start up

Im used to a lope at start up when its cold out. But lately these past few weeks I have been getting a lope at start up. Its still warm outside. 70-80 degrees. Give it a little gas and it goes away. Anybody know what this is? I figured it happens in the winter when my oil is too thick. So I put thinning oil in and it ran just fine. Just looking for some answers

I'm working on that myself-trying to get in touch with my dealer diesel bud,He must be out of town-I'm going to have him check mine.
He has all the gauges and test equip.
I'll let you know what he finds with mine
