Weird noise

Does anyone elses truck make a loud noise if you spin the tires too hard but it doesnt possy up and ends up only spinning one tire? Every time Ive laid into my truck hard and turned, if it doesnt possy up and slide, it makes a loud kind of grinding noise when only one tire spins.

Mine doesnt do it but I know that sound and it is horrible. I wouldnt do it much more. From my experiance it is the clutches in the diff making the noise and it is not good for them.
