Aluminum fuel lines and fittings

I am about to undertake the task of putting in a completely new fuel system.
I have an airdog 150, fuelab pump, and fuel cooler. waiting for the itp regulated returns to be back in stock so I can put of those in too.
I have noticed that a lot of these components come with steel fittings and some require aluminum fittings. I plan to replumb with braided stainless hose and aluminum fittings. Anyone see any problems with using the aluminum?
I work on aircraft and of course the Faa mandates steel for fuel usage. probably just the higher strength. Anyone using the aluminum fittings with success?
Thanks
