door ajar buzzer beeping every 30 minutes

OK,

So this is a good way to tell how long I have been driving but it is driving me nuts and I would like to know what I need to do to fix it.

My door ajar buzzer goes off every 30 minutes when I am driving. It is a series of 4 or 5 beeps every second or so in 5 sections.
It happens as soon as I start the truck and then continues every 30 minutes. I forget about it most days because my drive to work is normally less than 30 minutes, but on long trips it gets quite annoying.
Has anyone ever had this happen, what is the fix?

My door ajar buzzer was going off a lot and the light was always on. I sprayed some wd-40 in every latch or place i could find and opened and shut the door a couple times and it quit.

This happened to me. Turns out it was not my door ajar buzzer, but my airbag system. Air bag system malfunction will give you a series of 5 sets of 5 beeps at start up, then will repeat every 30 minutes. Turn your ignition to on, dont start the truck, see if your airbag light illuminates with the rest of the idiot lights. If not, then your problem is in your airbag system.

what he said. this happened to my 03 and my 99. wd40 did the trick both times. soak inside the latch and open and shut the door several times to get the switch freed up.
