Manual trans question

I have a 2000 f250 with a 6 spd in it, it is a reman tranny that is about a year old with probably only 10,000 miles on it. the problem i am having with it is it is hard to get into gear sometimes. sometimes it will not go into gear, and sometimes in sort of grinds, not like a bad grind but i can feel it in the stick. i am not shifting it fast but still seems to not want to get into gear very well. could it be shift fork or ????? any help would be great. going to put a new clutch in it pretty soon so i would like to be able to fix this problem when i pull the tranny out.
