TC Lockup Switch HELP!!!!!!!!
I am trying to install a simple switch to lock up the torque converter. I cant for the life of me figure out where the purple/ yellow stripe wire is. is it the 12 point harness on the drivers side of the trans by the trans oil pan? that is the only harness i see, but i am not sure. Pics would be awsome.

I know this is an old post but on my 2003, the wire that i believe orgehauler was referring to is purple/black and is a lower gauge than other wires on the same connector. I also have 5 multipin connectors mounted on the wheel well instead of 4. Can anyone with a 2003 verify that I have the right wire? Thanks.

I found the right wire on my 03. It is still violet/yellow.
If you follow guzzle's writeup it's very helpful yet misleading, for MY truck at least. The three connectors he refers to are mounted on a bracket that is bolted to the drivers side fender directly beside the master cylinder. Guzzle's writeup points toward the wheel well. There are two black and one gray connector there. The gray one is the right one. The wire colors and pinouts are all the same as the writeup says. Hope someone else with an 03 finds and uses this update. Sean |
