Remote for Keyless Entry

I have a remote from a 97 1/2ton and i was wondering if I could program it for a 99 PSD I know how to program it for the 97 but the 99 is a stick and has the little lever u got to push I was curious if it would work.

teh 97 remote should work. It is in the owners manual on programming . doors need to be locked I think "dont remember " key off key on 6-7 times. doors will go into a unlock cycle automatic. at that time press the lock on each remote. your done.

you start with the doors locked or unlock you may have to try it both ways.

if the truck isnt equipped with keyless it wont go itto the cycle

On my 2001, I started with the doors unlocked. I then turned the key to "run" (not start). From there I turned it to off and start 8 times, and the doors cycled. You then press the unlock button on the remote and the locks should cycle again.

Might be different on yours, but i got keyless entry for $5! (key fob on eBay)
