Ever heard of this, what do you think?
Had an ol timer tell me this weekend that he's been pouring 2 cups of store bought veg. oil (wessen) in his tank every other fill up and was getting phenominal gas milage. he told me he did it with the truck ever since ULSD came out and was made mandatory. Also told me he does it to his old farm equipment that still runs offroad.
i know guys mix and match bio and #2 but i had never heard of store purchased and #2. thoughts ??

uhm i'd say it'd burn but it may clog injectors over time, not to mentionn gel up in the cold.

hes senile. it might add lubricity, but you wont see a mileage gain from it. id bet hes adding more than 2 cups and forgetting to add that to the D2 he puts in so it appers hes getting great mileage.

Only oil I would add to my tank would be 2-stroke oil.....

yup you can do it in very small doses. I would just stick to 2cycle oil. 1 oz per gal. its not going to add any MPGs, you are only doing this to help lube the injectors.
hey wait more oil = more MPGs right? so what if I run 100%oil? do I get unlimited MPGs?!?! I wish. no longer would I need to haul around 90 gal of VO when we go camping! haha
