Just wanted to say a friendly "Hi" to everyone here. Just picked up my first 'Stroke yesterday. Got a 2002 SD that was Ohio state owned for a song and a dance. I went from a Chevy 6.5 diesel, to a Saab 93 (Trying to save gas. Dumbest mistake I ever made.
) Feels great to be back in a truck again. Performance wise, this 7.3 lays the 6.5 I had to waste.
Only had one issue so far. I really got on it for the first time yesterday, and it threw a CEL and cut all power. It came right back. I suspect an overboost with defueling due to the waste gate getting stuck. It probably never got goosed the whole time it was used before. It did it once and hasn't done it since. Haven't threw the scanner on it yet.
All in all, I'm loving this truck.
