Best muffler to quiet exhaust
I have a 2001 excursion. Bought it used with straight exhaust from the turbo to the tail pipe. It is not to loud when not pulling a trailer. When pulling a trailer the noise is really loud in the back seat. What would be the best muffler to install to quiet the exhaust?

I just took out the stock exhaust after 83,000 miles and replaced it with the Flowmaster HUSHPOWER 4 inch Turbo back.
I LOVE how quiet the Hushpower muffler is...no drone on the highway, and it flows alot of air. I think Flowmaster has a great product in this muffler. give it a serious bit of consideration I think you will be impressed. |

Sounds good..no drone but excursions are hard as the larger interior will pick up noises a pickup won't.

I don't have a lot to compare it to, but my Walker BTM doesn't sound too loud. I think it is a good choice if you just want to open up the stock exhaust, but don't want really loud. Not too bad either for just $46 plus shipping.
