08 Reverse camera in an 01

I couldnt find anything on this in the search so I decided to ask. I want to hook up the camera in my 08 tailgate to my pioneer deck. Has anyone done this?? Im hoping theres a simple wire I can get somewhere to run from deck to tailgate. Any help is much appretiated.

Interested in this too, would really like to get an '08 tailgate with the camera, it would make hitching a trailer soooooo nice.

you might just be able to use cat5 cable.

I know it works I have seen it online. And I might be wrong but you will get the cool green yellow red lines too.

You need to find what ones are positive and neg first. They the video should be 2 of them.

Maybe number 5 is a trigger wire.

So you think if i run a 1-power 2-trigger 3-ground 4-vid+ 5-vid-.

I guess its something I'll just have to play with..
