Oil and filters - Where to buy?

Truck's due for its first oil change since I bought it. I'd like to use a good quality oil (Rotella, Amsoil, etc.) so I'm going to do it myself.

Where are you finding these products? I've checked online for the chain stores here (Kragen, Napa, AutoZone, etc.) and can't seem to find anything...

Also...anyone use Napa gold filters? I understand their air filters are made by Wix, but what about fuel and oil filters?

I don't mind buying online, but I'm thinking shipping is expensive on almost 4 gallons of oil...

I looked around and couldn't find much on this subject, so I'm sorry if it's been discussed ad naseum and I missed it.

Thanks.

be careful of oil filters from walmart, fram filters do not have a real thick gasket like the Wix filter from napa. under a heavy load or or high oil pressure the cheap gasket will blow out. don't ask how I know!!!!

I like Baldwins fuel filter, it has it's own cap so you don't have to keep reusing the factory fuel filter cap. Filter price on the baldwin is about the same as if you just got a new element and gasket from the parts dept. at a ford garage.

You can get the motorcraft filter at walmart FL 1995 for your truck. Rotella is good, Amsoil is great too
