Door Help
My passenger side rear door will not open regardless if you try to open from the inside or outside. Just curious if anyone has any tips or trick before I start tearing into it. Thank you in advance. Oh and it is a crew cab.

You know I am not a hundred percent for sure. But from just messing with it very quickly it act like the handles dont pull on the latch at all. I will mess with it more today and see if I can give you a better description of the problem

Might want to try cycling the power door locks several times. Also try manually operating the lock. Don't know if it will help but it's worth a try.

I had to manually pull the lock and almost jerk it out of the door but then it finally opened. Automatic door locks try to work but they dont really do it. Are the switches bad or?

The power door locks failing are a very common problem on super dutys. In fact, my passenger door power lock hasn't worked all summer, just been to hot and to busy to take the time to get in there and do anything with it.

I am more than willing to tear into it, just not sure where to start or what to try. I really appreciate your help so far.

There are a few writeups on how to do it online. You have to pull the door handle off, the inside door panel, and unbolt the latch from the outside so you can pull the whole assembly out I'm pretty sure, but I could be wrong. Its been a few months since I last looked it up.
