pmr's

i did some researching and came up with very little useful or specific information. what is the exact date for forged rod's and the start of powdered metal rod's? do i go by the engine build date or the body build date?

alright i'm see'n alot of october 2000. agree,disagree? if any one knows the serial number on the engine that they started with that would be awesome. i saw it somewhere a few month's ago and cant find it again. the net is just to big.

well upon futher endless searching i came up with october 16 2000 as the last date for forged rod's and serial number 149832. if anyone else is interested.

I have a build date of 10/2000. This is on the inside driver-door. No day, just month/year. What would that be? Is there somewhere else I should look?

There is an inspection hole where you can look. Diesel Innovations has some pictures of this in their products and tech gallery. Other than that I don't know.
