mileage

Alright guys im getting kinda frustrated with my truck, it only get 17 mpg tops on the freeway with 3.73's an intake and exhaust and selectable warn hubs in the front. it has stock tires and i drive it like a grandpa, and definitely not over 70 mph, any ideas? thanks

sounds good to me. 17 is nice. If you want to get better its all about aerodynamics, lower and gears then a bed cover.

Tuners/chips will gain you little to nothing. BUT it sure makes the truck more fun to drive

im getting 18mpg with 3.73 an 36s in my dually.. an 9mpg in mt 4x4 on 33s an 3.73s..

good tunes an clean air filters make a big differance

sounds good to me too. i get 19.5 tops on hiway, but i have 2 wheel drive and single shots which i hear make a difference...

i have a tonneau cover, or however you spell that. i have some more s&b oil on the way cuz i haven't cleaned my filter in a while and within a month hopefully im gonna get a dp tuner chip. but i heard something about injector o-rings or something, i just can't find any info on it for sure, any help is appreciated, and thanks to those who posted.

ive been tracking mine with the fuelly site in my sig. its a average of all my driving so far and imo horrible for the layout of my area.
