You can slow down and run higher RPM's and that should lower your egt's a bit too. I'm currently making around 320-330 rwhp and over 700 ft/lbs, and in 65 degree temps towing a GCVW of 17,500 (give or take a few lbs) I can stand on it from a dead stop up a hill and I'm at 65 before I hit 1200*s....
