block heater
do i have a block heater on my truck its a 2001. if so where is it and what does it look like and what do you plug it into like extension cord or what?

Yes, your truck has one even if the cord isn't installed. If you have the cord, it plugs into right above the oil filter. If you don't have a cord, it's $50 at the dealer.

Yes, theres a socket above your starter but you need the cord that plugs into it. Look on ebay you can get them for about $20.

Usually the cord is tucked in the bumper on the driver side reach in where your tow hook is and feel around. And ya it's above the oil filter tword the front of the truck usually red in color.

found it saying it was red helped out a ton there was like 4 other cables underneath the truck but only one red one
|
