been fighting a knock now have a miss too!! HELP

Well guys ive been having this knock for about a year now. i had sent a blackstone sample out came back bearing material, so i pulled the motor and found that the main and rod bearings were bad. Replace them and the crank to be sure all was good to go there. everything was at spec and torqued good. also checked for wristpin play while i had it apart and there was none. well after all that im down to one knock that has something to do with the top end the knock is in either #1 or #3. ive also pulled the pushrods on those two to see if they were bent and as far as i could tell rolling them down a piece of glass they were straight. so im down to an fuel or oil issue. icp is new and no fuel leaks or hpo leaks. so i need ideas this truck is my daily driver so i cant have it break down. oh ya one more thing if i have to accelerate from a stop real quick when she comes back to idle speed the knock will be more pronounced and it will miss a little while accelerating.

Sorry for the long post i just wanted to give you guys the info i had to this point.

i have heard that a bad injector will make a knock sound. i think it has to do with too much fuel. i know with idi injectors, if they get trash in the tip and get stuck open, they will make a knock..... how many miles on the injectors?

not 100% sure if they are original but the truck has just shy of 270,000 on it.

im gonna bring this back cause i havent had the money to try an injector yet, but i also have a friend with an X that ive been using to compare sounds out of the motor. the last time we hung out they had the X running and i decided to smell the exhaust because i though my smelled a little different than when i first got the truck and i was right. it used to have what i call a sweet smell to it, now for lack of a better term it has more of a pungent smell to it. ive got my idea, but sometimes mine are skewed because i want an easy fix. Please tell me i might be right this time and its an injector.
