Figured I'd give you 7.3 guys a good laugh..

At work today, a conversation got started about oil filters between me and about a 55 year old man. I told him my filter was about $20. He looked at me like I was crazy and I said it was for a diesel. He then told me that he has a ford diesel and that his are about $7 and wondered what the hell i drove that needed a $20 filter. I told him it was a ford 6.4. He then replied with "shame on you!!" I told him i had it tuned and he said that I'll never make it to the 485,000 miles that he has on his 7.3. So props again to yet another indestructible 7.3!! Figured this would give y'all a good laugh..

I wish i could get oil filters for $7. With a really really good discount i pay $15 for my Napa Golds.

Our old 7.3 had 231k hard hard miles, and it ran like a champ. My truck appears to have had 400k hard hard miles, but really only has 179k miles and runs like crap.

I'll have a quarter million miles on my truck next trip out to work, and she still runs like a champ. I love my PSD!
