Need opinions

I think i am going to make the race truck 4wd for now, i dont have the knowledge to fourlink it and i want this to be a project i build on my own.

should i cut the frame and have a driveshaft made for a reg cab short bed 4wd, or because it will have a transfer case will that make the shaft too short and i need to keep it a long bed?

Dont know your answer I just know the theory of Less Roatating Mass. But the stretch of a long bed may be something for traction which out weights the longer driveshaft.
