Looks awsome, I definately want to do this to my 01.

Are there any write ups or DIY's on the net about this. I'm suprised this isn't more common.

Are there aftermarket ones that fit on with no modification. Also do the newer headlights bolt on??

the newer headlights do bolt on... at least 02-05 do on a 99-01 and I think the newer ones do, but can't be for sure.

Did you get the lights out of an early or late 05? I put the later lights in mine and you have to change the plugs. I put the whole front off of an 06 on my 99. The lights a factory billet grille and bumper. Also you can get a factory takeoff bumper on ebay for around $350 then you don't have to cut the grille. To get the grille to mount up right you also need the newer reinforcement panel.

That looks really good. Congrats on a job well done.

I'd love to see the finished product, when you get the lights done. Keep us up to date!!

It really looks like a brand new truck. I'll bet it confuses people in the future!
