Coolant Change

I need to change my coolant. What is the best way to go about it?

Should I just take it some where and have them do a flush or is there a trick to flushing it your self?

How would yall do it?

Thanks in advance

I'd use the SEARCH function and read some of the thousands of posts on this

Well Im searching now. Not finding alot on the actual how to get the old coolant out but more about what kind, color and addtives etc to put back.

I keep seeing "PET-****" on the instructions to drain it??? What the heck is that?
"Drain radiator at pet-**** ", what is pet-****?

You Know,,, you're Right!

Not as easy a Search as I thought it would be

Try these;

Changing the coolant

Is my coolant Green or Yellow....?

Coolant type???

Thanks man. I found the procedure in one of those.

Its the same procedure I saw earlier but they keep saying "pet-****" instead of drain valve. I dont understand why you would say "pet-****" instead of drain valve.

Cause the thing that you refer to as a drain valve is called a pet****.

Same reason you don't call your tires "round black rolley things"

I know the bad word filters are there to protect someone, but come on mods, can we loosen it up enough to only filter f bombs and maybe the C word? I'm pretty sure 99.9% of us are old enough to vote, and the few that are not are already a step ahead of the rest of their age group as far as maturity because there here, reading about Diesels!

I used to go on a forum which censored the CHIT out of Wichita. I thought that was a little hypersensitive.
