Proper proceedure
What is the proper proceedure to check level of trans fluid for both the 4R100 auto trans. I was always told to place the trans in neutral but my buddy says you can leave it in park. Which is correct? If it matters any.

Doesn't matter, warmed-up and level is all you need. The system is at "rest" and, not diverting fluid anywhere, in either....
