Stock Injector Life

I am sure this has been asked a thousand times already, but I tried using the search and didn't find much. So....

My trucks is an 01, I have 226k miles with the stock injectors, I have run amsoil for the last 120,000 mi. The truck still seems to have decent power but when hauling heavy I think I notice a little lag. ( I could be paranoid).

So the question is when should I really start saving for new / rebuilt injectors. How many miles did you guys get out of yours and what kind of things did you notice before and after you installed the new ones. I appreciate all the help thanks.

I've seen them with 500k on them and still running strong. Probably not real common, maybe the guy was just really lucky. When I had my 95 they had 250k on them and still ran great.

Run a jug of Diesel Kleen through it and see if that helps.
