2002 Coolant brown. Can I go green if was yello

Flushing coolant system and I bought all green and additive. Coolant is brown now with no tint. If it was yellow will it hurt to go gree?

Flush it all out and put some good ec-1 rated ELC from fleetrite, rotella, cat etc. Most ELCs are Red.

Yea, return the green. It was Yellow (Gold really) and you don't want to put the silica based green in it now...

If you are going to change coolant color (type) you must flush out the old. DO NOT mix color/types!! if you are going through the trouble of flushing might as well put the good stuff in there! ELC!
