Beef up your leaf springs

Has anyone used this added-on springs to beef up your leaf springs?

Ford F-250 Pickup Truck Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit (1973-2009)

Does it enhance tow performance?

I haven't use this one in particular. Just add a leaf for leveling.
