Indy 4wheel Jamboree

Hey guys I just got back from the 4 wheel Jamboree at the state fairgrounds here in indianapolis. I think it was one of best ones i've been to. The bigfoot f250 with the sweet blue flames and lambo doors on it that all you guys have been rantin about was there!!! It's awesome in person! I asked the guys there about the hood on it...freakin 700 bucks...that's ***. Now i'm no know it all, but that's a litte ridiculous. My biggest disappointment was that at a show where so many "rednecks" convene I only had 1 halfway serious inquiry about my dirt bike which I've been trying to sell. Also no one was interested in a flawless $10 (paid $40) chrome turndown, a Superchips max tuner for $250 (selling for no less than $325 at the show) And a barely used 18 volt Bosch cordless drill for 75 bucks (paid 240). 1 halfway interested person out of all that stuff.....so unfortunately I didn't get the damn guages I wanted. Saturday night was awesome, there's some people that own a warehouse east of town who are friends with a bunch of cops. They invite people out for a legal truck pull. There were a couple of awesome pull offs! One was when an early 90 something crew cab longbed single rear wheel ford with a 460 gas motor hooked up with a newer cummins quad cab dually with a tst box hooked up with each other. Everyone was tellin the guy in the gas ford to pack it up....but he held his ground and to everyone's surprise he didn't move even a half inch backward, instead he sat still for a second and then suddenly just started pulling that freakin cummins away like it was in neutral!! That got the crowd so loud it was nearly deafening! Another cool pull was a new liberty hooking up with a early 90 something 4 runner that was lifted and had big tires and almost twice the size of the liberty. Yeah, the liberty amazingly enough pulled the 4 runner and that go another loud crowd. There were plenty of broken parts too, 3 or so hubs went on newer super dutys, one guy's carrier bearing on a newer PSD, and a duramax of course broke a tie rod. Those dumbass chevy engineers! I've seen so many duramax trucks bend or break tie rods because they can't handle it like the dodges and fords. Anyway, it was a great weekend and I can't wait for the next show. I have a few pix that I can try and post later. Oh yeah...I had to buy more beads for the last day because of all the great flash-action the previous two days! Ha...sorry guys no pix :-(
