mirrors bought at swap meet has different plug...help

I bought a mirror to replace my drivers side mirror. I thought it was the exact same one. Not heated, no turn signals, just power tow mirrors (like I already have). However, the one on the truck has a roundish white plug with three wires (red, blue, and yellow)...the one I bought has a much larger flat gray type plug with 4 wires, (red, blue, and 2 yellows).

Can someone help (hopefully with pics) on how I need to splice the wires together correctly (since I doubt there is anything already made with tails or adaptor plugs).

I don't recall what the color code is, but there are adapters from Ford. I think they only came with new mirror's, but you might get lucky at the dealer.

dealer was less than 0% helpful. Gave me the run around. No one would help me, they just kept telling me that I would have to buy new mirrors from them.

I hate dealers!!!

Sounds like you got mirrors off of an 03-04 without signals. I believe if you look in the "Cheap 08 Mirrors" thread you'll find a list of which wires do what.

I just swapped mine and bought the pig-tail from the Ford House. I think it was 35.00
