fuel sender resistance range
I'm installing an aux fuel tank.I plumbed in a 6-way valve, which will also let me swicth between tanks and also read fuel levels in each.My main tank right now is half full and is reading about 110ohms of resistance.I thinking that this sender must be in the range of 240ohms/empty-33ohms/full.Is anybody out there that knows for sure. Thanks Mike.........

15 ohms on empty 160 ohms on full is the spec....give or take about 15% due to resistance building up in the sender over time......Marc

I believe you, but all I could find was 240-33.I either make work or wire it to the gage that came with the sending unit. Thanks for the info.Mike........

Yea, Marc it willnot read down all the way to zero, but very close. At 1/4,1/2,3/4 it's almost right-on,at full it pegs the gage alittle early, but I can live with it.Mike.
