Rotella ?????

Is Rotella no longer a CJ-4 rated oil? Is the synthetic CJ-4? The web site only says it meets or exceeds CI-4 ratings.

I have 5w30 Amsoil in my diesel with no oil change since feb 2004 40,000 miles ago, still in excellent condition, verified by Oil Analyzers, Inc. | Oil Analysis Services
my friend has 10,000 on his 6.0 with Amsoil PCO 15w40 and his came back good for continued use, from Oil Analyzers, Inc. | Oil Analysis Services

even looking at Rotellas own advertising they admit how poor there previous batch of draino oil was compared to what they sell now

Based on extensive industry recognized engine wear tests done by Shell Lubricants, Shell ROTELLA®T with Triple Protection™ technology provides on average 50 percent greater wear protection (ranging from 27% to 88% reduced wear) than the previous formulation. These laboratory based findings are backed up by the results of over 5.5 million miles of on-highway road testing using current generation engines in which significantly lower iron wear was found.
do they mean to say they tested the new oil out for 5.5 million miles before they decided to sell the new batch????
can anyone say windfall profit's from the big deceptive oil companies??

5W-40 vs. 15W-40

For all you guys out there running Amsoil in the summer in a 7.3L PSD:

Why run the 5W-40 instead of the 15W-40 HD Diesel and Marine Oil?

I'm interested in what you all have to say about this.
