tell me what you think

ive continued to have a sound in my truck. mind you all that 2 months ago i had the bottom end apart and put new rod and main bearings and check for play in the wrist pins and such. the sound is coming from the passanger side #3. ive checked the pushrods. ive been starting to think really bad injector. when the sound is loud she runs fine and when it quiets down i have a bit of a miss or stumble when im on it. if the attachment works im including an audio recording of it at idle

If you think it is the injector, switch #3 with #1 and see if the sound follows.

That's what I've been thinking. I've had the valve cover off checking for bent pushrods, and put my stethescope on #3 injector and it had an extra noise compared to the rest. I wanna see if my buddy still has the laser thermometer that he was borrowing and see if its hotter or colder in exhaust.

Do you have the capabilities to run an injector buzz test?

I had a buddy run a buzz test and contibution test right after it started. Passed the buzz test and failed 3 & 8 on the contribution test, but I've read some where here that the gray cps can cause that. That's why I'm asking on here what you guys think. I'm all prepare to drop the money on an injector, but if I can't say for sure my wife will kill me if it don't fix it.
