Question Single Stack

Well im bout to go pick up a 6" to 5"x 48" stack....and i already have a 5in exhaust. But i didnt want to buy the kit because its way over priced and i figured i put something together at home. So what all do you think i need? Im thinking just a 5" elbow and some flex pipe with some clamps will do the trick. And if i get the 48" will it stick out above my truck? But i plan on putting the part that is 5" under my bed. Some pics on how to do it yourself would be nice. Please help

I think a 48 will stick above the back of the cab.

Well i measured the bed to the top of cab and its 44in. So the way i do it then it wont stick up. But all in all its only gonna cost me about $145 to make and i will post up a thorough tutorial when im done.

Sounds good, its not a hrad install. Hardest part was the hole thru the bed. Broke 4 arbor bits on the hole saw.
