the reason i say both is for example the batt. terminal takes 1/2" socket and css takes a 10mm there for i carry both sizes in my tool box. just my personal preferance....i was stuck on the side of the highway changing my css and a couple weeks later changing both batts. and alt. in the auto parts store parking lot and i utilized both sizes.

oh and any one packing around a spare CPS remember to also pack a small pry bar or big flat head screw driver to gently pry the old cps out of the block... just though id throw that in there for those of you who have never changed one it is a real tight fit and it was hard for me to get mine out even with a pry bar. oh and it seems like i have had the metric/standard issue with every single ford i have ever owned good ideah to pack em both... a good pair of pliars and electrical tape are always in my truck |
