2000 7.3 Oil Filter

I have a 2000 PSD 7.3. Since I bought it new I have used an International 1814562C1 oil filter for this engine. Looked to be about a 2 quart filter.

Recently they size of this filter changed (same part #) and now it is about an inch or so shorter, but the same diameter. When filling the oil, it uses about 14.5 quarts to get to full instead of 15.

Does anyone know if this will cause any issues and is there another filter out there that is about a 2 quart filter.

I found the Baldwin is a short filter, not sure about others.

Thanks
Hal

No issues as long as it filters properly. The only filters I trust is the Wix and the Motorcraft, flip a coin both are excellent filters.
