ATS turbo housing / wicked wheel

I've got a 99 350 longbed crew, AEM intake, MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust, and Hypertech programmer, I'm running 315/75r16's. Just got my gauges and also have a wicked wheel to install. I just got my new 28' Weekend Warrior toy hauler (aprox. 11,000-12,000 lbs.) and am experiencing the old turbo surging. I was told by a diesel mechanic to worry about wheel balance with the wicked wheel. He suggested the ATS turbo housing with the balanced stock wheel instead. Any input would be nice considering everyone talks up the wicked wheel here.

I started out with only the wheel, and it helped alot. But did not eliminate it. After I put on the ATS Housing, it completely stopped. I have not heard it once. I am now running the WW and ATS intake and exhaust housings w/o a wastegate. Still no surge.

It also sounds great... there is a link in my garage of a dyno vid with my turbo setup...
