Smile What book to buy????

Hey Guys.......
Just wondering if anyone has a book for your truck? Schematics, instructions, Do-it-yourself kinda stuff.
I'm looking to buy a book so I can attack some of the common problems on my own instead of always taking it in to the shop.
I'm thinking Chilton or Haynes....something like that.
What do you guys recommend.

Thanks

Hmmm.. I've never really looked into it.. I'd say Chilton or Haynes either one would work. Another alternative would be to put a computer in the shop, then you could always just come here for your info!!!

Just don't get the e-autorepair subscription from the "local parts house". They didn't have the book and talked me into it and it sucks. None of the information I need, all the information I don't. Hard to navigate and takes a half an hour just to find the torque values you are looking for, IF they have them. Find a Chilton's or Hayne's or see if you can get a factory one for a good price.

Why stop at one inthe shop- put a laptop in the truck and use wireless!
Its great watching the screen saying its connecting to a network then network lost about 15 seconds later at 60+ mph down the road... or at offramps...
