how can i improve MPG's?

im driving a f-250 with a 02' powerstroke, and im getting about 14 mpg city and highway. right now it has a superchips towing program on the processor.

what can i do to improve my milage? im a junior in high school with no job and gas is killing me.

You could ride the bus... Seriously, though, I'm not sure about the 7.3, but someone should be along shortly to help you out. Oh, and to the org!

Driving habits, most High schoolerd iIpull up next to wanna race and blow smoke. These trucks are made for haulin and pullin. Toyotas are made for mileage

haha, im an easy driver i usually get glared at for going too slow, lol. i would buy a diesel jetta or something, but i just dont have the money, and this is the only thing at home i have to drive.

The best thing you can do is keep your foot out of the pedal. I just got back from florida and averaged 20mpg highway. City I get about 14 so you are in the ball park as to what kind of mileage you are going to expect. I have 5" stacks and an intake and 6pos chip. If I get on the pedal hard, I will get about 8 mpg.

intake exhaust light go pedal foot change out the tow tune for an economy tune if you have a superchip programmer or is it just a chip
