WTF? no IAH cool!

Went out today after reading posts last night about removing the IAH and what do you not doesn't exist on my truck. But what is that fitting with the plug on it I can't find it in the manual.

The early 99's didn't have the IAH, and you also have the 15 degree HPOP. Don't believe what you read about the benefits of removing the IAH heater. I have read a 30% increase in airflow and 6 mpg by doing it. Pure BS!!! It is there for a reason. YMMV

I figured an increase in airflow or at least less turbulence in the intake if it was removed. 6mpg increase, I'm calling shenanigans! You would be lucky to 1 mpg. With the way the car makers are touting higher MPG's you would think that an increase of 6 MPG's by removing it, they would have designed a better solution.
