New Winch Mount/ Front Mount Receiver

Well, Last week I got stuck on the Long Beach Launch ramp towing my boat out of the water. It took 2 hours before anyone could pull me and my 8000 lbs boat out of the water.

I looked into a posi/locker for more traction but that was looking to be quite pricey ($1,100) so instead I decided to mount a (removable) winch on th3 front of my truck that I have laying around in the garage until I can afford the locker.

I went to the local Metal supplier and bought some scrap steel. And $38.97 and a couple of hours later this is what I had.

I have TONS of great parts lying around but nothing for my truck (just picked it up last week) But I am slowly raping craigslist and the forums for every good deal that I can!

Last week was a new bed with snug top, intake and exhaust
Yesterday was the front mount receiver.
Today was a bedrug.
Tonight are gauges.
Tomorrow in dash TV and back up cameras
Friday is a detail
Next week are some custom tunes (if I can afford it)

i like the idea! needs tow hooks though
