2000 7.3L Master Brake Cylinder

Quick question. I have a 2000 F250 7.3L SuperDuty. I had a brake line rupture near my fuel tank. Had it towed to the Ford Dealer and repaired. I asked if the braking system was a dual system (i.e front and rear brakes coming off separate chambers of the master cylinder). I was told that the master cylinder was only a single chamber and that there was not independent braking for rear and front. I find that hard to believe. Can you clairy.
