additional lights

got a 7.3 excursion. want a little extra light for when im out in the wild i dont want to drill into the body and put ones on top. dont have a safari bar or anything at the moment. dont really want to spend the money on one at the moment. just wanted a few opinions on what looks good. thinking about a few more down by the fog lights and two at 45 outward degrees on top from the rack. what do you have? what have you seen that looks good what looks bad and what looks down right dumb

Get some 1" x 3" steel tabs, mount them to your header panel. Then pick up a set of Hella 700's or 500's and mount them all behind your grille...

This shows an 05, since there is a larger gap behind the grille, no tabs are needed.

The output on the lights is ok. If you throw a set of HID's in the 700's they will be really bright. If you can, you ought to update your front end to the 05 style, it gives you more room to play with. Bigger lights..etc..

to be honest i have been wanting to do that. they look alot better and the screen style oem grill just isnt getting it done for me.
