Check out my pix (click on the picture in my signature)... some people say go synthetic and surely that's not a bad idea. I refilled mine with Mercon/Dextron III.

How do we get the fluid out of the system if we don't have a TC drain bolt?

Amsoil Universal ATF

If you do the flush every 15k and flush +filter ever 30k then don't worry about the fluid in the TC.
I've heard you can d/c the lines and use some air pressure to move it but I don't do that. |

Dieselman77 - What change interval do you recommend for Amsoil Universal ATF?

Good to see diesels running strong down under. I would go 30K then change it but make sure you change the filter to. Don't just flush it.
I'm being a bit conservitive because I don't know how you drive or if you haul heavy loads. 30K would be worst case |
