Disconnecting Wastegate

Seems like a read somewhere that is was OK to take off the wategate actuator line and plug it up, because the stock turbo would not make enough boost to harm anthing. True, untrue?

Currently I have only intake and exhaust mods. Gauges will be in next week.

Mine has been unhooked for a while, and I haven't had any problems. With My TS chip on 140 I can hit 32psi of boost. I haven't quite researched what the 7.3 can handle stock.

I've read on the ebpv mod also. I just didn't want to spend the time.. When I remove the stock turbo to replace it I'll remove the valve.

You can also mod the ebpv into an exhaust brake. There are threads on that also.

I can't find one on this forum. I'll do a search sometime tonight, I know there's one somewhere I just have to find it. When I do, I'll post the link for you.
