New pinion seal

I have a leaking rear pinion seal on a 2002 F350 drw it has the Dana 80 rear end. Ford wants $75 for the seal and a local parts warehouse it is $16. This is a huge difference, is the Fords $59 better? Also does anyone know if there is a sleeve for the yoke because of ware from the seal?

There may be a speedy sleeve available for the pinion, the speedy sleeve is a real thin polished metal sleeve that goes over the seal area on the pinion allowing for a flat surface for the seal to ride on.....you would have to ask a parts person at an automotive parts store, they would need the diameter of the pinion that it would go on ....Fred
